We are American Baptists, and the church has members from a variety of Christian denominational backgrounds. Many have said "This is truly a Church in and for the community."

For over 200 years FBC, guided by God's Spirit, has assisted children, youth, and adults to become devoted followers of Jesus Christ.

What is Baptism?

Following the teachings of Jesus Christ, the practice of baptism by immersion in water is offered to those who have come to faith in God through Jesus Christ. Baptism is an outward sign of an inward reality. Baptism symbolizes your belief in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus for the forgiveness of sin and newness of life.
