Missionary to Northeast India Visits FBC
Katie Longkumer, who serves as a development worker with the Council of Baptist Churches in Northeast India spoke of her and her husband Taku's work in the region. From amazing stories of God working in people's lives to the tales of the elephants, tigers and monkeys and the cultures of the more than 80 different people groups in the area.

These men and women are believers in Christ from the Ishmaelite community. Like many house churches, theirs is made up of 10 to 15 believers who gather every Friday and Sunday to worship in their own languages and use their own local customs. They study the word of God, pray and extend Jesus' love to their neighbors in order to see God transform lives.
ASSAM in North East India borders Bangladesh and Bhutan, two nations unreached for Christ. There are 80 house churches along those borders, and their members are working among some of the most challenging communities.
Despite great personal risk, 50 volunteer leaders are engaged in evangelism and church planting through Neighborhood Ministries, and dozens of new believers prepare for baptism each month.
Men's Breakfast a Hit!
Up to 21 men attend the Men's Fellowship Breakfast. Even though the tables were filled, they still don't run out of pancakes! The fellowship and devotion time is meaningful and the men look forward to sharing again. Men from other churches are very welcome to come to the breakfast.
WINGS Youth Group Activities
We have an active youth group, with youth from our church and the community participating in and organizing several events: The WINGS Love Thy Neighbor Valentine Dinner raised over $400 for the Hamilton Food Cupboard, CROP WALK, the Birthday Bag Project for the Hamilton Food Cupboard, and fun meetings at the church. We attended Gospel Fest at Colgate Univ. Watch the calendar for upcoming youth group events.
