Ministry Philosophy

We believe that leading our children is ministering to the children and the entire family!

We believe not only in leading the children to develop a relationship with Christ, but nurturing the entire family is vital in the spiritual development of the family unit.   We believe It Takes a Village to raise a child.  How can we support our parents?  How can we make their role of the family spiritual leaders easier?  What resources, either time and tangible, can we offer these parents?  Caring for one child is nurturing the entire family.

Mission Statement

Our Mission Statement is based on The 52 Hours of Influence: Out of the 8,760 hours in a year, the church has only 52 hours (if we are lucky) to influence our kids in developing a relationship with Christ?   It is known that kids will make up their minds about following Christ before their 13 th birthday. The odds are against us in how many more hours he/she has being influenced by outside sources. So, our one hour is aimed to be the best one hour in this child’s week. The hour is action packed with meaningful connections, fun activities, and lessons to influence not just our children, but to support the parents as well.

We believe faith is not just our understanding of God, but the transformation of our lives measured by decisions we make and how we experience God. Faith is not taught; it’s caught!

Vision Statement

Mark 12:30-31

Love the LORD your God
with all your heart,
and with all your soul,
and with all your mind,
and with all your strength,
and love your neighbor as yourself!

Our Core Beliefs

Today Matters: I matter, you matter, we matter!
“Today, the choices I make matter!”
